Robert C. Evans, Jr., DDS, FAGD
Dr. Evans was born and raised in Washington, PA. He attended West Virginia University, where he was inducted to Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi Honorary Fraternities. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology (1982) and with Doctor of Dental Surgery or DDS (1986) from West Virginia University. Dr. Evans began his career at Robins Air Force Base in GA where he served in the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged, he and his family moved back to the area and have been practicing here ever since.
Dr Evans is dedicated to the Art and Science of Dentistry. He earned the prestigious Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2013. He has been the President of the Washington-Greene Chapter of the American Dental Association. In addition to practicing, Dr Evans is a Assistant Clinical Professor at West Virginia University’s School of Dentistry.
Dr Evans loves to take advanced, post-doctoral education. He has been trained by the Academy of Facial Esthetics in the placement of Botox and Dermal Fillers, 3M Oral Care in the placement of Mini Dental Implants (MDI), the University of Buffalo’s Post Graduate Program in Advanced Esthetic Dentistry, The Spear Institute’s Treatment Planning and Smile Design and he has completed a host of other courses.
Dr Evans has been named to Pittsburgh Magazines list of “Top Dentists in Pittsburgh” every year since its inception.
Dr Evans and his wife, Elaine have two sons, Ryan and Geoff. Elaine and Geoff are integral parts of the office. Elaine as a practicing dental hygienist and office manager. Geoff has recently joined the practice as a fellow dentist. Ryan is also involved in healthcare. He is an Internal Medicine Resident in Houston, Texas.
